“ So we found this place here about an hr way from Chicago west of it depending on the traffic and day and time. So let's get to it then doughnuts are good a bit different but good in taste and drinks are very good also very clean place also and service was good and friendly. We didn't wait much for our drinks which is very good. I would stop by here again if I'm around the neighborhood. As for the bill ehh it is high for doughnuts and drinks to be honest so be prepared to pay ok people. ”

“ This donut shop is over an hour drive away from my house but I am already looking forward to the next time I can stop by. There is plenty of street parking in the shared lot and the employees were very patient when I had to send a picture of the menu to my friend so she could see what drinks were available. I ordered her the premium matcha and I ordered myself a tiramisu iced latte. The latte was rich and sweet. I splurged and ordered a six pack of the donuts which included a madagascar vanilla, ube, cookies and cream, biscoff cheescake, yuzu cheesecake and the strawberry milk cream. All of the donuts were light, fluffy and had a food donut to filling ratio. We shared the 6 donuts between 3 people and they were all so delicious. There was also a counter/wall that displayed items such as cards, pens and stuffed plushies that could be purchased. I'm excited to come back to try more flavors and hopefully there will be more seasonal flavors to come. ”

“ Absolutely unbelievable donuts. They're crispy, generously filled, and they taste gourmet, not like some overly corn-syrupy junky "cream" inside. The coffee is great too - the espresso isn't overly acidic, which for me is perfect. The vibe is nothing to write home about. I went there to study for a few hours and it got a little old, it's just typical boba shop decor. But well done, it's definitely not shabby! Feels very clean and bright. The girl at the counter was super polite and happily described everything behind the glass to help me pick what to eat. I will definitely be back for more donuts and to try more drinks. Great place, highly recommend. ”

“ I love stopping by here to pick up some donuts after my errands in the area. The place is super cute too. There's space to work/study too. The donuts itself are soft and fluffy. The cream filling is not too sweet either. One donut is really filling cause it's pretty big. All the flavors are pretty good too. I also got a strawberry matcha and it was really good too! I wish they had non-dairy milk options though. ”

“ This place is an absolute gem! I like the vibe and decor. The combination of donuts, Korean corn dogs, and drinks is such a fun mix, and it's great that they nailed the balance between flavor and sweetness. I tried the mango, ube, tiramisu, and chocolate donuts and Thai ice milk tea! They were perfect--refreshing and satisfying without being overwhelming. The Dorito chip corn dog is a bold choice, but it's a game-changer! The place is accommodating for a medium sized group and the staff was friendly and patient. I will be back to try more flavors. ”

“ First time stopping in Dear Donuts and was pleasantly surprised! A cute sit down spot for a drink and some unique donuts. I enjoyed their garlic parmesan donut which was reminded me of a garlic parm bagel but softer...delicious. Will note i did see a limited amount of donuts which were pretty heavily stuffed. They also sell some custom corndogs along with cute trinkets. Love their creative wall of drawings. During my visit i did notice this spot was bustling with people constantly coming in and out. ”

“ The donuts are generously sized and have a lovely, soft, moist texture with delightful flavors. The must-try flavors are ube, Strawberry, Jalapeño Cheese, and Salted Caramel. It's great that some flavors are seasonal, as they allow us to try new ones as each season passes. Have the donuts to go, and you'll have a nice little box--also perfect for gifting! While the Strawberry Matcha Boba was okay, the Hot Matcha Latte and Ube Boba, authentic Korean Hotdogs, are worth trying as well. The ambiance is cheerful, especially for young people, and it's an excellent place for them to hang out, study, engage in crafting activities, and play board games. ”

“ I represent myself and my parents, husband, and two young daughters when I loudly proclaim - Dear Donuts is worth the hype, drive, and time! Dear Donuts is about 45 minutes away from our house. Several reviews have indicated they sell out quick so I was adamant in leaving the house early and getting my hands on two boxes of donuts - one for us and the other for my cousin. We arrived around 8:30 AM on a Saturday and there was a short line. Nonetheless, we were able to get all six flavors in two boxes: 1) Madagascar vanilla 2) Choco crunch 3) Strawberry milk cream 4) Ube 5) Peach yogurt 6) Biscoff cheesecake My family and I enjoyed a few donuts fresh in the store but saved a few to take home. For those who plan to take donuts to go, especially on a hot summer day, I would highly suggest that you prepare ahead of time and bring a cooler bag with dry ice. Some may say $4.50 for a doughnut is outrageously expensive. However, these Korean brioche cream doughnut, a rare find in the Midwest, are a made-from-scratch delicacy that have gone through multiple proofing stages to achieve the extra soft texture. Each doughnut is filled with a light, hand-whipped cream. My parents are generally indifferent about doughnuts but it's now been two months since our last visit and they still have yet to stop raving about them. In fact, they've already recommended it to several of our friends and neighbors. That means a lot from a traditional Asian family in which compliments are extremely rare! We will definitely return! ”

“ This is our second time here and it's always busy, so that means everyone definitely likes it. The downside to being busy is that the tables may not get wiped down as often - not a game changer, just an observation. We ordered the Strawberry Cream, Choco Crunch, Raspberry Cheesecake, and of course the Ube Bironut. Every single one of them tastes great, and what we like is that they aren't crazy sweet, but just enough to let you know they are donuts! Recommend if you're in the area and don't mind spending $4.50 - $5.00 a donut, but they are great! ”
